MiPow Expanding Bluetooth LED-Light Selection

Milpitas, Calif. – Startup MiPow will expand its selection of Bluetooth-controlled Playbulb LED lights with the July shipment of the $39 Garden, a solar-charging color-changing garden light that is staked into the ground.

The Garden, which sits flush with the ground, joins three other Bluetooth lights that became available late last year.

Playbulb products are available at such online stores as Rue La La, Amazon, JPAG Supplies, Century 21 Department Stores, iGet.it, Touch of Modern, Ebay, Magnell Associate, Staples, and Wal-Mart, and more. The products are also available in the brick-and-mortar stores of Tilly’s.

With the Garden light, consumers use the MiPow iOS or Android app to control the colors, brightness, and lighting patterns of the Garden. It includes battery that lasts up to 20 hours.

The company’s other products are the Color at $79.99, Rainbow at $39.99, and Candle at $19.99. All can be controlled via a smartphone to set different colors, brightness levels, and lighting patterns.

The   Color is a light bulb with built-in speaker and an alarm/ sleep timer. The Rainbow lacks speaker. Both screw into standard E26/E27 sockets in homes.

The Candle is a flameless battery-powered tabletop candle-style bulb with lavender scent-chip.

MiPow, whose global headquarters is in Hong Kong, also markets backup batteries, chargers, and Bluetooth headsets and speakers.
