Shenzhen, China - CE retail veteran Noah Herschman has joined Staples China as chief of merchandising.

Herschman had previously served as home and mobile electronics director at Amazon.com, and before that held various VP posts at Tweeter Home Entertainment Group.

He left Amazon last year to pursue business and language studies in China.

Staples China primarily serves government and businesses of all sizes through its delivery operations, but also operates more than 20 retail stores for small business customers and consumers.
