Motorola Launches Headsets, Headphones

8/18/2008 02:00:00 AM Eastern

Motorola recently introduced three Bluetooth accessories.

The H620 in-case headset is billed by Motorola as its first headset optimized for use in a car. Features include road-noise reduction, echo-cancellation technology, automatic volume adjustment, and one-touch mute and voice dialing. Talktime is listed as seven hours with up to eight days of standby time.

The headset is constructed with the company's TrueComfort design, which has multiple ear cushion choices. It's scheduled to be available in the third quarter of this year; pricing was not available at press time.

The second Bluetooth headset, the H560, boasts noise-reduction and echo-cancellation technology. Its automatic volume control increases or decreases volume based on the noise level in the surrounding environment, said Motorola. Features include TrueComfort design, EasyPair technology, seven hours of talktime and eight days of standby time.

As with the H620, the H560 is scheduled to be available in the third quarter; pricing was not given.

Finally, the S9-HD Bluetooth headphones feature a behind-the-head design that is said by Motorola to weigh "barely 1 ounce." It offers controls for track selection, volume, play/pause and send/end that's meant to enable users to manage music and calls from the headphones.

Up to six hours of music play can be had from a single charge, according to the company, and the headphones will stop the music when a call comes in (and resume the music when the call ends).

The S9-HD are scheduled to be available in September. Pricing was not given by Motorola, but at least one online retailer listed the retail price as $149.
