Beats Got No Strings With Pharrell, Nicki Minaj & Steve Buscemi

Beats by Dr. Dre has released a star-studded video promo touting the benefits of wireless audio, titled “Got No Strings.”

Set to “I’ve Got No Strings” from “Pinocchio,” the video shows a host of stars dancing, twirling and exercising — all while unencumbered by their headphone cables. It also serves to highlight its newest headphones, the Beats X, Powerbeats 3 Wireless and Solo3 Wireless.

The video comes as Beats’ parent company Apple nudges consumers away from wired audio with its new 3.5mm-less iPhone 7.

Celebrities shown include Pharrell Williams, Michael Phelps, DJ Khaled, Rebel Wilson, Steve Buscemi and Nicki Minaj, among many others.

According to The NPD Group, sales of Bluetooth headphones surpassed wired for the first time earlier this year.  Beats was the No. 1 selling Bluetooth brand in the first half of this year, NPD said, noting that it, along with No. 2 seller LG, captured 65 percent of dollar sales.
