Stamford, Conn. - Harman International Industries said its Harman Kardon BDS series of integrated home entertainment systems is now available.

 The BDS 400 ($999) and BDS 800 ($1,499) are billed as all-in-one home-theater audio systems. They feature a receiver integrated with a Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD player; FM tuner; and an onscreen menu system and remote.

The BDS 400 has a BDS 2 SO integrated receiver for 2.1-channel sound through two front speakers and a subwoofer, as well as Dolby Virtual Speaker technology.

The 5.1-channel BDS 800 has four voice-matched satellites, a center-channel speaker, a subwoofer and the BDS 5 SO integrated receiver. Other features include front-panel USB port, iPod/iPhone compatibility via the Harman Kardon The Bridge IIIP dock (not included), and upgradeable firmware.
