New York - Handspring today cut prices up to 25 percent on its Visor handheld computers.

Under the new pricing structure the 2MB model is now $129, down $20, 8MB Visor Deluxe by $30 to $169, the 8MB Visor Platinum was slashed $50 to $199 and the Visor Edge is now $299, a $100 reduction.

Handspring is positioning the price cuts as part of a back to school promotion.
