Ridgefield Park, N.J. – John Garrison, executive VP/sales and marketing for Samsung Consumer Electronics, has left the company to explore “new opportunities,” according to a company spokesperson.

Jung Soo Shin, who was promoted to president/GM of the unit after International CES, takes on Garrison’s responsibilities.

This was the second stint at Samsung for Garrison. He was employed there until 1997 when he joined AT&T as senior VP/national retail sales. Garrison rejoined Samsung in August 2001.
