West Chester, Ohio -
Escort announced a holiday marketing campaign, with its Passport 9500ix radar
detector as the leading focus.
According to the
company, the event is being promoted at national, regional and local sales
levels, and will include print, online, direct-mail, email and point-of-sale
advertising. The focus will be on expanding consumer awareness by presenting

on qualifying product purchases from Escort and participating retailers, the
company said, and will include a free accessory package consisting of Escort's

and coiled cord), a $50 retail value. Gift boxes for select products and free
shipping will also be offered.
The company's no-risk
test drive policy -- which typically allows drivers to use new its radar
detectors for up to 30 days - will be extended to the end of January 2011, and
Escort's trade-in program will also be featured in the promo.
Escort added to its line
of radar detectors earlier this week
introduction of the Passport Solo S3, a cordless model.
