The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) today announced that Akamai's David
Kenny, The Coca-Cola Company's Joseph V. Tripodi, Interpublic Group's (IPG)
Michael Roth and WPP's Sir Martin Sorrell will join the 2011 International CES
keynote lineup as participants in the Entertainment Matters keynote panel.
The 2011 International
CES returns to Las Vegas Jan. 6-9, and the Entertainment Matters keynote panel
is scheduled for noon on Friday, Jan. 7 in the Las Vegas Hilton Theater.
The keynote panel will
be moderated by Michael Kassan, chairman/CEO of MediaLink. Since founding the
company in 2004, Kassan has built MediaLink into a leading advisory firm that
provides sage counsel to the media, entertainment and technology industries.
Entertainment
Matters, a new program sponsored by Variety and Cricket and designed for
Hollywood's film, television and digital communities, will debut at the 2011
International CES. The program will feature exhibits, events and conference
programs designed specifically for entertainment professionals interested in
the convergence of content and technology. The Entertainment Matters program
aims to customize the CES experience for those within the content industry.
CES attendees who
purchase an Entertainment Matters or Digital Hollywood/Media Money Makers
conference pass for the 2011 CES will receive a VIP pass to the Entertainment
