Menlo Park, Calif. — Tom Edwards has joined the market and research firm Pacific Media Associates (PMA) as senior VP of consumer electronics.

Edwards, formerly a senior analyst covering the CE category for The NPD Group, Port Washington, N.Y., will be responsible for expanding PMA’s existing coverage of the consumer market for large-screen displays, including LCD and plasma.

PMA produces the monthly Large-Screed Displays Reseller Tracking Service and the quarterly Large-Screen Display Service.
