Toronto - ISee3D
developers of single-lens 3D recording technology, and compact video camera
supplier DXG USA said Monday that they have broadened their partnership with a
new co-marketing and promotional effort.
The two companies had previously announced that DXG USA
had licensed ISee3D's technology and
consulting services to develop a forthcoming single-lens 3D video camera. In
preparation for that launch, the companies said they will be combining
marketing efforts and further collaborating on training, promotion and endorsements.
In addition to camcorders, DXG's license of ISee3D technology
also includes "devices across a variety of other markets."
"In light of the opportunities available in these other markets,
both companies recognize the importance of having a unified marketing effort,"
a joint statement said.
"We have been working closely with DXG since last year to develop
their new single-lens 3D camcorder, and have been consistently impressed both
by their vision of the 3D landscape as well as their high level of technical
expertise," stated Tom Mitchell, ISee3D interim CEO and chief technology
officer. "We are thrilled with their offer to introduce our team and our
technology to new prospective partners, as well as their expertise and ability
to manufacture and sell components utilizing the ISee3D technology to equipment
manufacturers in other industries."
Going forward, DXG and
ISee3D said they plan to collaborate on distribution of joint press releases,
development of collaborative marketing materials, and joint attendance/sponsoring
of trade shows, conventions and conferences.

awareness of the benefits of a single-lens approach to 3D," said Paul Goldberg,
DXG USA sales and marketing senior VP. "ISee3D's unique single-lens approach
will allow our customers to shoot error-free 3D video of significantly higher
quality than previous approaches."
