Plain White T’s To Play New Age Gig At CES 2016

CE and gaming distributor New Age Electronics has established a tradition of treating customers to top-name musical acts at its annual CES dealer appreciation parties, and this January will be no different.

Chicago-area pop band Plain White T’s, known for its hits “Hey There Delilah” and “1, 2, 3, 4,” will be the headliner at the 2016 event, where New Age will also announce its 2015 Consumer Electronics Retailer of the Year and Gaming Retailer of the Year honorees.

“Plain White T’s are a hot act, and we look forward to thanking our customers and friends for their continued loyalty with this electrifying performance,” said New Age president Fred Towns. “Together, we’ll start off CES and 2016 with a bang by gathering with the industry’s top executives at this exclusive event.”

The band joins a growing roster of acclaimed musical acts at the New Age bashes, including Goo Goo Dolls (2015); The Fray (2014); singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat (2013); and former Eagles guitarist and songwriter Don Felder (2012).

Here’s the music video for their latest single, “Pause” (replete with the notorious RV from the AMC series “Breaking Bad”):
