Pioneer Music Company Celebrates Second Facility

Kansas CE distributor Pioneer Music Company (PMC) marked the opening of its second fulfillment center with a three-day Grand Slam launch event last month that featured trainings, promos, raffles and giveaways.

The new location, in Omaha, Neb., will provide area integrators with just-in-time inventory and provide one-day shipping to quality accounts in Nebraska and Iowa.

“With the just-in-time model becoming more critical in our industry, it is all the more important for us as a distributor to operate as a one-stop shop for our integrators,” said principal Dan Haight. “Keeping a wide variety of product and having that product in stock will be key to experiencing continual growth in Omaha.”

On hand for the Grand Slam event were representatives of over three dozen brands, including Definitive Technology, Kenwood, Klipsch, Nest, Parasound, Peerless Rockford, Russound, Vivitek, Wilson, Universal Remote Control (URC) and Yamaha.

When not attending three separate trainings, old and new customers gathered around a grill (safely placed within the new warehouse) for chat and chow, and attended the local College World Series games. (See scenes from the shindig, below.)

PMC is a member of Catalyst AV, a network of 11 independent CE distributors serving some 16,000 custom integrators.

PMC’s second warehouse is located in Omaha, Neb.
