Carson, Calif. — CE, IT and gaming distributor New Age Electronics has promoted VP Eric Kirkendall to senior sales VP.
Kirkendall joined the Synnex division 13 years ago as sales director, was named senior director in 2006, and was promoted to VP in 2008.
During his tenure he consolidated seven sales teams into one channel sales group, led the creation and development of New Age’s e-commerce sales division, and directed sales integration activities following the company’s acquisition by Synnex.
“Eric’s hard work and consistent leadership have been key factors in New Age Electronics’ success,” said New Age president Fred Towns. “This well-deserved promotion demonstrates Eric’s ability to deliver beyond goals set and be consistently successful in the midst of rapid industry change.”
