Los Angeles - AVAD has relaunched its website for custom integrators, manufacturers and other industry professionals.

The Ingram Micro subsidiary said the new site is intended to be a convenient one-stop resource for custom installers, including easy access to ordering products, system design resources and dealer tools from the distributor's vast offering of value-added benefits.

The redesigned home page now features a scrolling banner highlighting industry resources, events and promotions, including the recently announced 2014 product catalog, the most recent version of the AVAD Mobile app and the latest AVAD Vendopalooza events.

Additionally, the site is now integrated with the AVAD Mobile app, which allows each dealer's favorite products, shopping cart additions and recently viewed items to be viewable from either platform to save time and make product access between job sites quick and practical, the distributor said.

New features of the website include 24/7 ordering, an integrated shopping cart, comprehensive product content and clearer visibility to AVAD's promotions, products and value-added services.

AVAD said the site offers faster browsing and more intuitive navigation.

“The AVAD website has been the recipient of numerous renowned industry awards in the consumer and custom electronics channels, and we couldn't be more enthusiastic about the added improvements in this new launch,” said Jim Annes, VP/general manager for AVAD. “We owe our growth and success to our network of integrators, and their most popular feature requests, comments and tools have been the driving force for the new and improved AVAD.com.”
