Aquavision Diving Into U.S. Market Through Stampede

U.K.-based Aquavision, which made its North American debut at the recent CEDIA Expo, appointed Stampede as its North American distributor to expand its presence.

Aquavision markets thin-profile waterproof TVs that can be flush-mounted in studded and solid walls in luxury residential, hospitality and commercial applications.

At the Expo, Aquavision introduced a TV equipped with HDBaseT, the world’s first waterproof 4K Ultra HD TV, and its MirrorVision Plus TV-mirror. The company’s TV sizes range from 16 to 85 inches. Aquavision TVs interface with AMX, Control4, Crestron, and RTI control systems.

Aquavision will be featured in Stampede’s new 1,000-page Big Book of AV catalog and web site. Aquavision will also participate in 2016 trade shows and Stampede events.

“Televisions are becoming a staple in more and more environments where they are exposed to the elements, both in consumer and commercial applications,” said Stampede president/COO Kevin Kelly. Demand is driven by the growth of outdoor living areas at home and a desire by hotels, schools, restaurants, and bars to install more TVs into their indoor and outdoor environments, he said.

Amherst, N.Y.-based Stampede provides presentation equipment to audio/video, computer, and home theater resellers and integrators in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.
