Vista, Calif. —Directed Electronics is shipping its smallest two-way remote-start transmitters under the Responder One line.

 The transmitters offer 2,000-foot range for starting a vehicle from a distance and are available with remote-start systems from Viper, Python and Clifford brands.

The transmitters also confirm that the car has started by a flashing LED and audible tone. Two Responder One transmitters are bundled with each new Viper, Python or Clifford remote-start system at a suggested retail of $299.
