Harrisburg, Pa. - CE and IT distributor D&H Distributing is holding a printer sales initiative this month.

The event, which includes entry into an American Express card giveaway, is designed to help dealers capitalize on sales of printers and higher-margin consumables and printing supplies and accessories. The latter can fetch margins as high as 17 percent, D&H said, which translates into "a significant profit opportunity associated with the sale of photo printers, home office models, all-in-one units or multi-function printers."

Participating vendors include Brother, HP Consumer, Lexmark, OKI, Ricoh, and Samsung.

Customers who purchase $5,000 worth of qualifying printer products from participating manufacturers throughout the remainder of April will be entered by D&H to win one of 16 American Express gift cards with values of $100, $250 and $500.
