Upper Saddle River, N.J. – Integra joined Pioneer in adding HDBaseT technology to home audio components, with Integra adding the technology to an A/V receiver and an A/V preamp processor.

The Integra DHC-60.5 A/V preamp processor and DTR-60.5 A/V receiver will be available in August at a suggested $2,000 and $2,300, respectively.

Pioneer recently unveiled a $3,000 A/V receiver with the technology.

HDBaseT sends uncompressed HDMI video, including 3D and 2K/4K Ultra HD video, plus multichannel audio up to 325 feet (100 meters) over inexpensive Cat5e or 6 cable instead of over expensive HDMI. The HDBaseT output port in the two components can be assigned for either main- or second-zone configuration.

The two networked components also feature built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, THX certification, and ISF-certified video calibration control.

The DHC-60.5 7.2-channel networked preamp/processor features THX Ultra2 Plus certification, 4K pass-through, 4K up-scaling of conventional HD video sources, nine HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, the HDBaseT output, 7.2-channel balanced XLR pre-outs (with front-channel bi-amp capability), and two-channel balanced XLR audio inputs.

The DTR-60.5 9.2-channel networked AVR features THX Select2 Plus certification, 9x135-watt output, nine HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, an HDBaseT port, and 11.2-channel pre-outs to add on an outboard amp to deliver 11-channel DTS Neo:X up-mixing for surround-sound playback.

The AVR can also be configured to assign four of nine channels to drive audio in Zone 2 and Zone 3 simultaneously.

Post-processing surround technologies in both components are Dolby ProLogic IIz and Audyssey DSX. The components also feature Audyssey MultEQ XT32 room correction.

Both models’ network connection  access the following Internet radio and streaming music services Spotify, Pandora, SlackerM, Rhapsody, Tune In, SIRIUS XM Internet Radio, AUPEO!, and Last.fm.

Both also support playback of high-definition music files in the FLAC, DSD, ALAC, HD 24/96 and HD 24/192 formats.
