Chicago - Cobra Electronics announced it would show an Android version of its iRadar radar detector and app at International CES in January.

As with the iPhone version, the iRadar for Android uses Bluetooth wireless technology to pair the smartphone to the radar detector. Once the app is downloaded (free from the Android Market), users can control the detector using their smartphone.

Pricing is the same as the iPhone version: $169. It will begin shipping in the first quarter.
