Northbrook, Ill. - CED, a leading CE distributor and member
of the PowerHouse Alliance, is adding a second Illinois location, west of
Chicago in Bensenville, Ill.
This is the third location for CED and is a part of their
ongoing expansion plan, the company said.
CED is investing in the facility in order to provide a
convenient location for will call, along with a technology center to showcase
the latest technology, the distributor said in a statement.
The facility is slated for a soft opening in mid-April with
a grand-opening event the week of June 4.
The new location is located at 880 Devon Ave., just a few
minutes from three major expressways, and is being designed for the custom-installation
market. The location will house an improved fully merchandized will call for
customers, a newly designed showroom highlighting all of today's technology,
and a large warehouse to ensure adequate stock for their dealer base, CED said.
"We are excited about this new facility," said Nathan
Longbottom, purchasing director. "It is
representative of our growing business, and our commitment to our dealer base."
Longbottom added, "This new office, in conjunction with our
headquarters in Northbrook, puts us in front of our clients and lets them know
we are truly looking to be their partner in the consumer electronics industry.
CED is committed to offering the best products and providing the best customer
service in the Midwest."
