Special product demonstrations include
Sony Electronics, which is showcasing
its 3D lineup with
live 3D broadcasts from
the World Cup soccer
tournament.

Intel will also be there to
present “what’s new” product
demos in the travel, senior,
back-to-school, moms and kids, seasonal
and entertainment products for the year.
Among the products expected to be
shown are:

Edifier

, a China-based audio supplier,
will show its five audio products for
the U.S. market. Two models are iPoddocking
speakers systems, and three are
PC multimedia speakers. The docking
speakers include the portable AC/DC
iF350 iPod/iPhone-docking speaker
system with FM radio at $179. The
other is the $299 AC-only iF500 Luna
5 tabletop system with FM, three-way
speaker system, 52 watts of amplification
and a spherical speaker enclosure
with elliptical profile. Both are Works
with iPhone-certified.

Vizio

will show a sound bar due to
ship soon with wireless subwoofer,
built-in Dolby Digital decoding, SRS
TruSurroundHD virual surround processing,
and SRS TruVolume, which
prevents abrupt changes in volume levels
when changing TV channels or when
a TV program shifts to a commercial.

Vizio will also use its first appearance
at the Line Show to highlight a variety
of HD LCD TVs and wireless 3D Bluray
Disc players using two different 3D
TV techniques, the active-shutter technique
using Bluetooth wireless technology
instead of the standard IR system
used by most competitors, and a system
based on the same passive polarized
glasses system used in most commercial
movie theaters.

The manufacturer will also showcase
two 3D televisions to demonstrate the
approaches. A 55-inch TruLED Active
3D HDTV incorporates a framesequential
display and active-shutter
glasses that work together with the
company’s 480Hz SPS high-frame-rate
technology for FullHD 3D images.

A Vizio 65-inch passive 3D HDTV
enables the use of less-expensive passive
polarized glasses, while providing viewers
greater style and comfort, Vizio said.

For 3D Blu-ray playback the company
will demonstrate its VIA Connected
VBR330 with 2D and 3D HD capability.

Sonos

, the wireless multi-room-audio
supplier, plans to announce what it calls
“a brand new way to listen to thousands
of live concerts all over your house,” a
spokesperson said.

AOC

said it plans to give attendees
demos of USB 2.0-enabled features, including
TimeShift recording and Digital
Photo Frame still image playback.

The TimeShift feature, available in
AOC’s value-centric 32-inch and 42-inch
models, allows users to pause, rewind
and fast-forward live content after connecting
a 2GB USB 2.0 thumb drive.

The Digital Photo Frame feature,
which is offered in all 2010 AOC
HDTVs, allows users to manage and
organize JPEGs on the set and to display
them as a slideshow.
