Minneapolis – Best Buy reported that during its fiscal first quarter ended May 27 its comp store sales gain was driven by higher revenue from flat-panel televisions, MP3 players and accessories, notebook computers, and computer services. These gains more than offset comparable store sales declines in tube and projection TVs, CDs, desktop computers and printers.
