Los Angeles - Casio America made its first appearance at this week's E3 2010 by demonstrating its mercury-free Green Slim video projector as a tool for game players looking to get the biggest bang for their buck in big-screen video game play.

Casio made its first appearance at this week’s E3 2010 to demonstrate its new line of Green Slim video projectors, which are handy for gaming applications. Here E3 attendees use one of the projectors to try out games at the EA Sports/Strikeforce MMA 2010 Fight at the Nokia Theater.
The projector was on display in the official gaming lounge at EA Sports/Strikeforce's MMA 2010 Fight at the Nokia Theater.

Casio also used the E3 opportunity to play up its watch line, awarding G-Shock watches to lucky winners throughout the show at the booth.

Casio's Green Slim projector uses a laser and LED hybrid light source, capable of high-brightness projection for use in next-generation projectors.

Developed under the company's "clean and green" concept, the new projectors eliminate the need for mercury bulbs with the production of a long-lasting light source.

Casio's Green Slim projectors weigh 5 pounds, and measure 1.7 inches thin for easy transportability. They target a wide range of applications, from home-theater viewing to digital signage, to interactive game play.
