Lake Success, N.Y. Canon has informed its U.S. dealers that it would raise the price of its accessories, according to published reports and confirmed by TWICE. 

Prices on all Powershot and EOS digital camera accessories, all Canon binoculars and “most” EF lenses would see increases of between 3 and 5 percent thanks to rising fuel costs and an unfavorable exchange rate, Canon said.

The change in dealer net pricing will be effective May 1.
