Nationwide Kicks Off PrimeTime Show

Nashville, Tenn. — The Nationwide Marketing Group kicked off its biannual PrimeTime meeting and buy fair yesterday with a series of chapter meetings, vendor presentations, marketing sessions and a private concert by country-western star Martina McBride.

Highlights of the Sunday sessions included an address by U.S. Navy Commander Rorke Denver, a former Navy SEALs commando team leader and trainer, who described how independent dealers can apply special forces techniques and strategies to their businesses.

Members were later treated to a private concert by singer-songwriter McBride at Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry House. Opening for McBride was a guest band fronted by PrimeTime trainer and country performer Kris Kuester and backed on drums by Nationwide executive VP Jeff Knock.

The trade show portion of PrimeTime opens this morning.

The show, appropriately themed “Crank Up The Volume,” runs through Aug. 13 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, here.

Nationwide is a $15 billion buying, marketing and services group with over 3,700 independent appliance, CE and home-furnishings dealers operating out of more than 10,000 storefronts in the U.S. and Canada. For more information visit NationwideGroup.org.
