Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), the national retail and custom integration buying group, will hold its 2016 Fall Conference Oct.18-20 at the Westin Michigan Avenue in Chicago.
The event, HTSA’s last for its 20th anniversary calendar year, will feature three days of educational and networking opportunities, including a pair of special “members-only” segments: a state of the union address by executive director Jon Robbins, and a Masterclass “Art of the Demo” presentation by Sound Components’ Mark Goldman.
Other conference highlights will include group discussion sessions; one-on-one sit-downs between dealers and vendors; VendorFest, a mini-exhibition of new A/V products and smart-home solutions; and off-site dinners at Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse and Harry Caray’s newest Magnificent Mile location.
“Twenty years after its founding, HTSA continues to provide the best educational and information-sharing vehicle in this very unique custom electronics space,” said Robbins. “Much has changed — from the technologies to the business models in the custom integration industry — but our membership’s philosophy of mutual support and our dedication to seeing all our members share ideas to create innovative blueprints for success, remains.”
