HTSA Foresees Strong Q4

Barrington, Ill.  — The Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA), the buying group for specialty A/V dealers and custom integrators, said it’s poised for a strong finish to the year.

Just coming off a successful 2014 CEDIA Expo, where it also exhibited for the first time, the group said it will continue to build on its momentum from the show and from its expanded marketing programs and vendor line card.

“You could feel the energy, passion and synergy the minute you stepped into the room,” said managing director Bob Hana of the group’s well-attended CEDIA cocktail event. “We take pride in cultivating meaningful relationships between our members and vendor partners, allowing them to uncover creative ways to do business together. As a joint force we can collectively nurture business opportunities and continue to grow the industry throughout 2014 and beyond.”

HTSA’s latest vendor additions include Wi3, TiVo and Kaleidescape, raising its assortment to 55 brands, while recent marketing initiatives include an enhanced intranet portal that provides members with around-the-clock access to vendor leads, sales, marketing funds and integrated plug-and-play campaigns.

“As an organization we have outgrown the role of simply being a ‘buying group,’” Hana said. “We have evolved into a true marketing engine, with the ability to cultivate new interest and feed the business pipeline. …We are all eager to finish this year strong and continue to build off of our successes.”

This year also saw the additions of Sound and Vision, Epic Audio Video and Hanson Audio Video to the group’s member ranks.

HTSA will next convene Oct. 21-23 for its Fall Conference at the Sofitel Water Tower Hotel in Chicago. For more information, visit HTSA.com.
