Google, Facebook To Present At Nationwide PrimeTime Show

The Nationwide Marketing Group’s revamped seminar series, Nationwide Learning Academy, will feature speakers from Google and Facebook when the program returns to the semi-annual PrimeTime convention in August.

On hand from Google will be strategist Brenden Jacobson, while Facebook will be represented by digital strategy partner manager Gabrielle Garrison.

The two will join over a dozen vendors plus various industry leaders, content authorities and in-house experts for the 40-session series, which will cover such topics as marketing, digital and leadership, and provide manufacturer-specific merchandising and promotional guidance.

“The member feedback from [the program’s debut show in] Orlando was overwhelmingly positive,” said Nationwide’s educational coordinator Mike Whitaker. “We focused on taking time to understand what our members wanted out of the education curriculum and delivered the best of the best as far as content, presenters and topic variety. We’re very excited as we’re ramping up each of those areas even more for the August show.”

That next event, slated for Aug. 14-17 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, will carry the theme “We Are Nationwide” and will kick off with a private concert by Wynonna Judd at the Grand Ole Opry. To register, visit NationwidePrimetime.com.

Nationwide is a marketing and merchandising organization for independent appliance, furniture, CE, CI and rent-to-own dealers. Its 3,500-plus members operate more than 10,000 storefronts and together generate some $15 billion in retail sales.
