Miami - Brightstar
announced it has reached an agreement to acquire eSecuritel, a provider of cellphone
and wireless products insurance services.
previously owned by Mainsail Partners. Through the agreement, Brightstar will
be able to integrate eSecuritel's handset protection services into its global
services platform, Brightstar said, adding that it expects the transaction to
close within the next 10 business days.
