Farmingdale, N.Y. - High-end headphones manufacturer Beyerdynamic introduced an entry-level model this week that's being billed as a travel solution.

The DTX 300p features soft cushions and a stainless-steel headband that can be folded for storage. A soft carrying case is included. Frequency response is listed at 25Hz to 18,000Hz, with impedance at 32 ohms and sound pressure level of 104dB.

It comes in two colors combos -- white and gray, or black and red -- for $59.99 suggested retail. Availability is scheduled for March.
