introduced a mobile rewards app that lets consumers redeem Citi ThankYou
Rewards points at any Best Buy store. Consumers can choose from most products
within Best Buy's brick-and-mortar assortment, and pick up their selection onsite
or have it shipped anywhere in the continental U.S.
Best Buy is the
first retailer to partner with Citi on the app, which is available for free
from Apple's App Store or Android Market.
"With Best Buy's
experience in the mobile space, we're excited to collaborate with Citi on
bringing the ThankYou Rewards App to life," said Michele Azar, the chain's emerging
digital platforms VP. "Expanding upon our extensive network of stores and
knowledgeable Blue Shirt employees, this app is yet another convenient way for
our customers to connect with the right technology to fit their lifestyle."
