New York — Belkin today introduced the N1 wireless router and a new wireless USB hub.

The N1, shipping later this month with a $199 suggested retail, uses the 802.11n 2.0 specification to deliver an operating range of up to 1,600 feet under optimum conditions, with a theoretical data rate of 300MBps. Actual throughput is less.

The router’s built-in LCD can show the current data rate, number of networked devices, network bandwidth usage and the date and time.

The F5U302 four-port wireless USB hub, shipping in late August with a $199 suggested retail, has a range of about 30 feet, giving the user wireless access to all the USB devices connected to the hub.
