Compton, Calif. - Computer accessories maker Belkin Components underwent a facelift today when the company announced a name change to Belkin Corp.

The company no longer felt the word 'Components' did not accurately described Belkin and its role in the computer industry, a company spokesman said. No other changes were made in respects to how the company will function.
