Ridgefield Park,
N.J. - Tim Baxter, president of Samsung Electronics America's (SEA) Consumer
Business Division, has been named president of SEA sales, marketing and operations,
covering both the Consumer and Enterprise Business Divisions.

In this new position, which Baxter began on Jan. 1, continues
to report to Y.K. Kim, president/CEO of Samsung Electronics North America.
"Based on the success of both our consumer and enterprise
businesses to date, it is critical that we structure our organization to
continue to drive future growth in both of these important markets," said
Kim. "Under Tim's leadership, these businesses will continue to focus on
the distinct characteristics of each."
Baxter and his current leadership team will continue to
drive the SEA consumer business. The company is engaged in a search for
an executive to head the enterprise business under Baxter.
In addition, Todd Bouman has been promoted from director to product
marketing VP for the SEA Enterprise Business Division.
Bouman will also act as interim sales VP for the division as
Samsung recruits an executive for that role.
As a part of Samsung Electronics' global organizational
changes, both Y.H. Eom, current executive VP of the SEA Consumer Business
Division and J.Y. Lew, current president of the SEA Enterprise Business
Division, will return to Korea to assume new leadership roles.
