Santa Ana, Calif. — Averatec has launched an 18.4-inch desktop PC based on an Intel Atom processor, intended for basic daily functions such as Web browsing and email.

The device comes with Windows XP Home, 1GB os memory, 1,600 GB of storage and built in WLAN. It complements the 22-inch model currently on the market.

The latest models is available at a suggested $549.99. It is backed by a one-year limited warranty and one-year, toll-free technical support available weekdays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. PDT.
