Van Nuys, Calif. - AVAD will hold a two-day 3D event simultaneously at all 26 U.S. and two Canadian branches April 13-14.

AVAD's 3D open house event will offer integrators an opportunity to see 3D technologies and products being introduced to the custom electronics industry, including 3D-capable TVs, 3D-ready Blu-ray players, accessories and more.

AVAD will provide attendees with 3D design, installation and sales tips to assist them with the impending demand for 3D systems, it said.

"AVAD has always taken a leadership role in introducing custom integrators to new technologies and new product categories, and the introduction of 3D is no different," said Jim Annes, VP/GM of AVAD. "The building excitement and demand for 3D products offers custom integrators a substantial opportunity for new areas of profit, and AVAD is committed to providing its dealers with all the tools they need to successfully market, sell and install these 3D products."

All AVAD branches will have a complete selection of Samsung 3D products -- including HDTVs, Blu-ray players and more -- in stock and available for purchase at all 28 North American branches. "We are pleased to once again be partnering with one of our leading vendors, Samsung, to bring this event and sales opportunity to our dealers," said Annes.
