Thousand Oaks, Calif. — SunBriteTV introduced Tuesday a weatherproof Anti-Theft Shroud Cover Kit designed to prevent vandalism of digital signage in heavy traffic areas.
The signage accessory model SB-SS47-BL ($1,149 suggested retail) will target commercial installations and is billed as a solution for public venues including stadiums, amusement parks, restaurants, hotels, colleges and resorts.
The kit features custom locking fasteners that can’t be removed without an included specialty wrench to secure SunBriteTV Pro and Marquee series displays (SB-4717HD, DS-4717TSL, DS-4720L and DS-4720TSP).
The industrial-grade powder-coated aluminum exterior will resist rust and includes a weatherproof deck pole and mount.
“Standard kiosks often create a large footprint that distracts customers and blocks the view of the surrounding environment,” said Jonathan Dry, SunBriteTV senior mechanical engineer. “The Anti-Theft Shroud is less bulky but doesn’t compromise on security.”
All cables and entry points to the SunBriteTV are covered and protected to prevent any unauthorized access or tampering.
