Elite Screens Opens New Georgia Facility

Elite Screens has opened a new office and warehouse facility in Macon, Ga.

The addition of 84,600 square feet of new space alone will enable the company to better serve the Southeast and growth in Latin American markets, the company said.

“Elite has enjoyed unprecedented expansion and this has led to the necessity of a regional facility,” said Dave Rodgers, marketing manager.

This new facility will operate as the regional hub for logistics and service support and will allows customers to now receive product within two business days for most ground services. The Georgia branch will also provide product and support to its various distributors throughout Latin America.

The Georgia facility will carry all the same SKUs as the California location does, with more than 2,000 different types of projection screens in stock and available for immediate distribution.

Product will commence arrival in July with an expectation to carry all SKUs for the company’s consumer lines of Elite Screens, custom install EPV Screens and Advaning outdoor awnings by Q4.

It is expected that the new Georgia facility will be able to reduce shipping costs throughout the Southeast U.S. by up to 50 percent.

Rodgers told TWICE that the company’s world headquarters in California presently has a team of about six to eight warehouse workers and he expects the Georgia facility will likely grow in numbers to eventually match that. The California office has about 40 in-house employees.
