Petaluma, Calif. — Elan Home Systems expanded the database of IR codes and drivers for its Elan’s g! entertainment and control system to speed up integration with home-entertainment products and other-brand home systems.

With the availability of Elan g! 6.4 Software, the g! system adds support for integration with SnapAV DVRs, NVRs and cameras, Coolmaster and Heatmiser climate systems, and security systems from Honeywell, DSC, Paradox and Texecom Premier Elite 48. The software also supports Wyrestorm HDMI matrix switchers, the new Atlona 6x6 matrix switcher, Kaleidescape media servers, and Lutron Radio RA2, QS, QS International lighting systems.

Through a partnership with Only One Remote, Elan added what it called “the most complete and accurate IR code set available today.” Elan called the expansion of its IR database “massive.”

“By constantly adding features and third-party drivers, we are giving dealers and users more reasons to install and expand the Elan g! system,” said Robert Ridenour, Elan brand manager.
