San Diego – Sony said it will step up support for A/V specialists and CI dealers with the appointment of a nationwide network of independent reps.
The rep companies represent “a new initiative for Sony for the A/V specialty and custom install channel,” a spokesperson said. “Reps were brought on in order to maintain and increase the level of sales and technical support we provide to the specialty A/V and custom install reseller.”
The reps will service the entire continental U.S. and Alaska to “cover the frontline of Sony’s sales force,” said the spokesperson. “They will be backed by a dedicated in-house staff of sales managers, technical sales reps and program management support.
Frank Sterns , VP of Sony’s A/V specialty/CIS channel, said the rep network “was hand-selected from the best and most experienced sales-rep firms in the country to complement [our] great dealer base.”
