CasaTunes Cuts CT-3 Music-Server Prices

Fort Collins, Colo. — CasaTunes has reduced the price of its CT-3 series of music servers to $995 from a previous $1,499.

The servers feature 320GB of local storage and ability to play music collections on networked universal plug-and-play and DLNA computers and servers. The servers are controlled from a CasaTunes app for iOS, Android and Blackberry smartphones and tablets as well as from a web browser or in-wall keypad. With the app, users can stream an unlimited number of music services and music apps available from the Apple App Store, including iTunes Radio, iHeartRadio, NPR Music, Rhapsody, Rdio and Songza.

The CT-3 entry-level multiroom music solution provides three streams of music to three wired rooms and to five wireless AirPlay speakers or devices. The CT-2i features one external input, two wired outputs and five wireless outputs, and the CT-3 features three wired outputs and five wireless outputs. The CT-3S is designed to work with Russound, Audio Authority, Channel Vision, NuVo and SpeakerCraft multiroom audio systems.
