Dallas - AT&T reported today it will support Acer's 4G Iconia Tab A501 tablet PC.

This Iconia Tab is expected to start shipping during the second quarter, at which time pricing will be announced.

The Tab A501 features Nvidia's Tegra 250 1GHz processor, runs on the Android 3.0 operating system and has a 10-inch display.

This news comes on the heels of AT&T's announced attempt to acquire Sprint for $39 billion.
