Englewood Cliffs, N.J. – LG Electronics USA has launched a pair of consumer contests with kitchen makeovers and appliances among the prizes.
The more challenging of the two is “My Kitchen Needs Nate,” in which contestants are asked to shoot a video in their kitchens describing what they love about the LG Studio collection of premium kitchen majaps.
The contest, which will award a complete kitchen renovation by designer and LG majaps spokesman Nate Berkus, also asks contenders to describe in the video the personal inspiration they want Berkus to incorporate in his design.
Separately, LG is also holding a “Caption This” contest in which consumers can submit witty captions to scenes from its new “Inner Voice” marketing campaign, and vie for the company’s latest door-in-door refrigerator (model LMXS30776S).
Captions can be submitted online and finalists will be selected by an LG judging panel and celebrity home chef Katie Lee, whose Food Network show “The Kitchen” will be outfitted with LG appliances. Winners will be chosen by a vote of LG’s Facebook page fans.
Both contests run through July.
