Ontario, Calif. - Apex Digital has entered in the digital camera market with two low-cost, CMOS-based cameras under the 'Digitrex' brand name.
The higher-end 2.1-megapixel DSC2100 features a 1.6-inch TFT color LCD screen and stereo MP3 player. It takes CompactFlash memory and also includes a self-timer, video clip capture mode, seven-second audio memory, continual 4x digital zoom, adjustable screen brightness, adjustable exposure, built-in flash and is tripod mountable.
The DSC2100 is shipping now for a suggested retail price of $139.95.
The Digitrex DSC1300 sports the same feature set as the DSC2100 but with 1.3-megapixel resolution and a continual 2x digital zoom. It is also shipping now for a suggested retail price of $99.95.
