Torrance, Calif. — Alpine Electronics reduced the price of its PND-K3 portable GPS device with Bluetooth to $349 from a suggested retail of $550.
The PND-K3 has been shipping since the summer and includes extra sensors to measure vehicle direction and speed in order to provide continuous navigation in tunnels and around tall buildings. The 4.3- inch unit also has maps of the full U.S., including Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and a built-in SD card slot for music files.
