kicks off a two-month
coast-to-coast dealer training tour on April 19, starting on the West Coast in Orange County, Calif.,
and ending in Long Island, N.Y.
The tour, which will hit a total of eight cities, steps up
Alpine's training commitment from last year, when it conducted product training
through its rep force and, for select larger accounts, through factory
personnel. This year factory-training personnel will conduct all sessions.
Assistant sales VP Mike Mike Anderson said dealers would be able
to "experience our key products in an up-close and personal setting."
Morning and evening sessions will be offered at each venue, except
for the Florida and Long
Island stops. Each session will consist of a full product overview
plus breakout sessions, which will be conducted in small groups to focus on six
Alpine products that won 2010 International CES Innovations Awards. Breaking up
into small groups will enable detailed demonstrations and hands-on time with
the products, the company said.
