ADS Tech demonstrated the newest version of the firm's MiniTV USB at ArcSoft's booth at International CES. The cigarette lighter-sized TV tuner plugs into the USB port of a desktop or laptop PC for real-time viewing, time-shifting or TV on the go.

The complete TV to go package is priced less than $80 at retail. In addition to delivering real-time TV with time-shifting capabilities and scheduled recordings, ADS Tech's MediaTV PVR software lets consumers take their favorite videos, music and photos wherever they go on portable media devices such as such as a Sony PSP or Apple iPod, the company said.
