Following the wide-aspect ratio screen trend, PC display maker Envision has started shipping a new family of flat-panel monitors.
The Envision G22LWk and G19LWk have a 16:10 aspect ratio and feature a DVI-D interface, a VGA connector and are designed to work with Microsoft’s upcoming Vista operating system. The 22W-inch model is equipped HDCP so it can show HD content through Vista. Both displays have built-in speakers.
The G22LWk specific features include 1,680 by 1,050 maximum screen resolution and a 700:1 contrast ratio. It carries a $349 suggested retail price.
The 19W-inch G19LWk has a 1,440 by 900 maximum screen resolution and has a $229 suggested retail price.
