Digital Storm Rolls Out Black Ops Gaming PCs

Fremont, Calif. – Direct-to-consumer PC vendor
Digital Storm has introduced its Black Ops line of high-performance gaming
computers.

The configure-to-order PCs incorporate several Digital Storm
features, including its Sub Zero liquid cooling system; the TwisterBoost overclocking
process for processors, memory and graphics cards; and a third-party noise
suppression package.

The three-SKU line features the Extreme, Enthusiast and
Performance models with respective starting prices of $3,102, $2,104 and $1,709.
Prices will vary depending upon configuration.

The Extreme model has an Intel Core i7 960 3.2GHz processor, 6GB
of dDDR3 1,600MHz memory, an Intel X58 chipset, an ATI 5870 graphics card with
1GB of onboard memory and a 1,250-watt power supply.

The Enthusiast is powered by an Intel Core i7 920 2.66GHz
processor, and it has Nvidia GTX 285 graphics and a 750-watt power supply.

The Performance version offers an Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz
processor, 4GB of DDR3 1,600MHz memory, and an Intel P55 chipset.

The Black Ops models come with Digital Storm’s three-year parts
and labor warranty and are put through a 72-hour stress test by staff
technicians prior to being shipped to the customer, the company said.
